B1G Game Weekend at the Bay

Visitors can still enjoy the Ohio State/Michigan rivalry in a new way and in a fun place with the B1G Game Weekend at the Bay! This weekend is jam packed with events including the Fall Ball and Put-in-Bay Wine Fest. Make sure you get your hotel or home rental booked early because the island usually fills to capacity.

The businesses at Put-in-Bay, Ohio are teaming together to give you the experience of the Ohio State/Michigan game as they host B1G Game Weekend at the Bay on Saturday. Put-in-Bay establishments will decorate as if it were the actual game day and welcome guests to come dressed in their team colors. Old and new games alike play on screens while the sound of marching band music and the aroma of tailgate food will fill the air.

All social distancing requirements of the State of Ohio will be followed during B1G Game Weekend to provide for a safe environment for this fun event. The best places to watch the games are either downtown at Mr. Ed’s Bar or on the other end of the island at Joe’s Bar.

So, even though we have to wait a few more weeks for the actual B1G Michigan/OSU Game Weekend to be played live, that doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate our teams and our fall traditions early. Get your jersey ready and put on your game face. It’s the biggest day in college football. And, it’s on an island! After all, when life gives you lemons, have an imaginary Ohio State/Michigan game!
