Put-in-Bay Ohio 2023 - Open for the Season

Put-in-Bay’s Season Opener – April 1st, 2023

Spring has arrived and Put-in-Bay Ohio is officially open for business! The ice is melting, the sun is out, and now it’s time to for wish winter farewell and make an island getaway. That’s right, we are open for season! We’re so excited to welcome so many new and returning guests to Put-in-Bay this season. You can expect to experience some much-needed relaxation as you enjoy all that Put-in-Bay Ohio has to offer.

With that said, visitors that plan their trips around season-open will receive additional perks. April weekends are bonus weekends at the following locations: Commodore Resort, Island Club Home Rentals and the Put-in-Bay Condos. It is also fishermen season, so grab your gear and head on over for the best Lake Erie Fishing available! What’s Open at Put-in-Bay? (last update 3/31/23)

For those of you who haven’t come around in the early season, it’s not quite the same as July or August. The island opens up slowly in April and May, and it’s not until around the end of May that you’ll find all of your businesses open. We will try to keep this guide reasonably up-to-date, but since hours vary and not all of these openings are 7-days a week, we recommend that you call first for any business you hope to patronize in April or May! The dates below are tentative and subject to change at the discretion of the owners’, but they represent the best of our knowledge at this point.
