Peace and Quiet

Peace and Quiet is a secluded little oasis on Put-in-Bay. Two units sit side by side on a lovely wooden area, both available for rent.

Located less than a mile from the downtown, Peace and Quiet is perfect for those looking for a quiet spot with a homelike feel that is still close to the attractions of the downtown.

Peace and Quiet Setting & Amenities

Each unit can sleep up to eight guests. There is a full kitchen, dining area, and air conditioning in each. A sleeper sofa is available in the living area and each bedroom has a full bed. Linens and towels are provided.

The backyard is spacious and a wonderful place to spend an evening. A propane grill is also provided for guests to grill up freshly caught fish from Lake Erie. There is plenty of room to set up yard games like cornhole and spend the day playing and hanging out.

The lodge sits tucked away from the road down a winding path. When you feel like relaxing, Peace and Quiet makes it easy and enjoyable. The owners also live on-site and they can help you with any needs that may arise and offer tips for the island only locals know.

Put-in-Bay

Put-in-Bay offers a retreat from the everyday, a hidden gem in the middle of Lake Erie perfect for both families and groups of friends. The island offers plenty of outdoor activities, boating fun, and beautiful nature trails. For groups of friends, the downtown is positively packed with things to do.

Rent a golf cart to make it easy to travel to nearby attractions. Cars can travel to the island on the Miller ferry but parking is limited on the island and wait times to get back to mainland with a car can be quite long. You can rent golf carts from Delaware Cart, Bike, and Moped Rentals and many other rental spots around the island.

So Much To Do At The Bay!

Family friendly activities include Perry’s Cave and Family Fun Center. The main attraction here is tours of Perry’s Cave with an underground lake. There is also mini golf called the War of 10 Holes, a Butterfly House, rock wall, and a giant maze!

The Chocolate Cafe on Catawba Avenue is full of delicious truffles, ice cream, and pastries. DeRivera Park is in downtown with a playground and picnic tables. Kimberly’s Carousel is across the street. This iconic piece of Put-in-Bay history is a favorite of everyone.

A little further afield is Saunders Golf Course, which is a 9-hole par 3 course. Joe’s Bar is next door and a great place to relax with a beer in their comfy outdoor patio. They have a full menu as well.

There is a public launch dock and swimming beach at South Bass Island State Park plus a variety of other fun outdoor activities throughout the island like the Jane Coates Wildflower Trail.

Downtown Put-in-Bay is where all the action is. The streets are lined with delicious restaurants, fun bars with live music, and plenty of shopping.
