Thinking about sailing from Mentor OH to PIB on Pirate week. What do you recommend for family docking or should I go with Mooring? I have a 4 year old and a 1.5 year old. We would like to get to bed by 11 pm or so...

Public docks A,B, and C are probably not a good option for you. mandatory rafting and you never know who will be your neighbor climbing over your boat at any hour. Mooring bouys are nice for privacy, free water taxi till 1 am and a place to leave your tender if you use it. Put in bay marina, the old Duggans is a private marina with no rafting and is usually a pretty mature group. You will need to reserve a space, 2 day minimum that weekend. Fox's is beside PIB Marina, same there. Don't know much about the others but there are a few more options.
