Chris Logsdon is from Columbus and plays at the Reel every year and packs the house. Ray Fogg, I have seen him play for over 20 years. He will play all of your favorite sing alongs plus a few of his originals. Definitely has many jokes and stories that are always funny. Can be sometimes R Rated so if you can not take a joke do not go. But I suggest making sure you see him perform.

Downtown Dave’s Thought(s) For The Week
Last week was so much fun. We had 2 great artists at Bash at the Bay and a few of my favorite bands played downtown. I was out listening to live music from Tuesday to Saturday night.
If you would come into my work office you would find 75 bottles of different Bourbons and 30 different kinds of rum. Now you would think I have a drinking problem. Well not really. I probably have 2-3 small glasses of bourbon with guests on the porch a week and probably 1 glass of rum with coke a week. When I go out it is usually 2 beers. So I feel that I have it under control. I know too many people that let alcohol ruin their life. I have been around enough of those people to know that I never want to be like that. So my advice to all is do everything in moderation because if not whatever the habit that you have it will take control of your life. But being that I was out for 5 days straight I did have a few beers last week. I did feel a bit run down Sunday. But I looked back at all of the fun that I had and I thought how many more weeks am I going to have like that in my lifetime. Life is short when you get older. Do everything that you can to enjoy life. I just visited my dad this week and he will be 90 in a few weeks. He is of sound mind and he still drives but he cannot do what he used to do. So that is why I went out for 5 days straight.
Many of you that know me well know about me and Mickey Mouse. It is not that I am obsessed with Disney. It is just that wearing Mickey stuff makes me remember when I was a kid and life was more simple. When you are a kid all you want to do is grow up and be an adult. But being a kid is so much more fun. Adults tend to take things way too seriously at times and stress over the smallest things. When you were a kid all you were worried about was playing outside with friends. School was not even bad because you get to see your friends. So I try to always look at life as if I was a child. But my 68 years on earth have taught me to be responsible but live every day like it is your last day.
