Rita's Cantina

Rita’s Cantina serves up the best in south-of-the-border flavor on the Upper Deck of the Boardwalk. Everyone knows where the Boardwalk is, but just in case, it is located right on the harbor in downtown Put-in-Bay.

Home to the largest and most impressive tequila list on Put-in-Bay, Rita’s Cantina makes margaritas right. Choose from one of their signature frozen delights or opt for a classic on ice with salt and a lime. With such an amazing list of tequila, try one you’ve always wanted. You may even discover a new favorite!

They also sell plates of tacos and nachos to go along with your drinks. Rita’s is a great spot, anytime of day!

The Boardwalk Details

The Boardwalk Family of Restaurants contains multiple restaurants and bars in one sprawling complex. Located right on the harbor, this two tiered building features some of the best views in all of Put-in-Bay. And some of the most delicious food!

The culinary delights are endless at The Boardwalk but the favorite here is most certainly the world famous Lobster Bisque. Creamy, rich, and absolutely delectable, this is lobster bisque at its finest. The Lobster Bisque is available on both the Main and Upper Deck.

A Family of Restaurants

The main deck is home to three restaurants, all well priced and good for the whole family.

Fish Shak

This cheery spot features fresh Hand-Breaded Lake Erie Perch and Walleye Sandwiches & Baskets. A perfect place to experience the best of Lake Erie.

Little Galley

A favorite amongst families and boaters, the Little Galley slings Black Angus Burgers, Quarter-pound Hot Dogs, White Meat Chicken Strips and French Fries. Sure to please everyone in your party with a quick, delicious meal.

Book’s Seafood

This get positively seafood-y at Books. With a mouthwatering variety of grilled fish sandwiches and platters, as well as other freshly made sandwiches, wraps and fresh salads. Book’s Seafood is also home to gourmet seafood favorites: Alaskan King Crab, Live Maine Lobster, Key West Shrimp and New Zealand Mussels.

There are two bars located right on the main deck. There’s nothing more pleasant than sipping on a glass of wine or beer and gazing out into Lake Erie.

The Burgee Bar

This is the spot for a delicious handmade Frozen or our Signature Riptide Rum Punch! Try a strong Specialty Cocktails or choose from a large selection of beer. Live entertainment plays every weekend in June, July and August across from the bar. This is a lovely place to sit back, relax, and enjoy the view and the entertainment!

Claw Daddy’s

This casual, pleasant bar with a designated smoking section is located right on the water. Claw Daddy’s definitely has one of the best lake views on the island.

The Upper Deck

Head upstairs for a more upscale experience. The Upper Deck opened in 2007, really delivers. Dine on steaming bowl of Lobster Bisque or select something equally delicious from their full menu such as juicy burgers, prime rib, lobster rolls, and shrimp and crab flatbread. Round out your sophisticated meal with a sophisticated drink. They also have a full martini menu.
