The PIB Dog Bowl Will Be Great Viewing For Dog Lovers!
McCann Field on Toledo Ave. will play host to THE premier canine athletic event of the season at Put-in-Bay! Granted, it’s the only one, but nevertheless it’s going to be quite a show! The Put-in-Bay Dog Bowl, hosted by DockDogs, will bring to the island for the first time the sport of dock diving! It’s truly amazing to watch, it’s the dog equivalent of the long jump! Sporting dogs sprint to the edge of a pier in pursuit of a thrown toy and are scored on their distance!

DockDogs Is The National Organization Hosting The Event
This very cool event is being brought to the island by DockDogs, the governing body of this growing sport. And while it goes without saying that you can’t just show up with your dog and compete, pre-registration is required, as a spectator, you’re good to go! The event is going to be open to the public.
