The Birds Nest swimming pool view area is open to all guests. To save money, you can bring your own beverages poolside as there is no swim up bar or jacuzzi or pool bar.

Centrally located on Put-in-Bay island with easy access to the Perry’s Victory and International Peace Memorial, Perry’s caves, Jet Express, Miller Ferry, and all other major attractions within walking distance.

The island itself is located about halfway between Toledo and Cleveland, near Cedar Point in Sandusky Ohio, off Catawba Island. If you are looking for a relaxed Put-in-Bay lodging resort then you have found it.

Birds Nest Resort Policies

Check in is between 4 and 8pm. Check out 11am. Other times are available by arrangement. Baggage storage is available with early check in or late departures.

All cabins have a two day minimum. King, Double and Efficiency rooms have a two day minimum on the weekends and holidays. Weekly rentals are Friday-Friday. No Saturday Check outs.

No refunds for early departures or no shows. Parking is limited, so only one car per room. We highly recommend you leave your car on the mainland. Once on the island you can take a Put-in-Bay taxi ($3 anywhere on the island) or rent a Put-in-Bay golf cart onsite at the front desk.

There is an additional charge of $40 for each pet during your stay.
