Waverunners, the brand name of Jet Skis, are fun, powerful machines that zoom across the lake. Operators must be 18. They rent both single and double occupancy Waverunners. Double Waverunners are allowed passenger switches so more than two people can take a ride. However, the operator must remain the same the whole time. There are specific riding areas for jet skis which will be explained prior to departure.
Stand-up Paddleboards are an amazing way to traverse Lake Erie. The Ocean Kayak Brand Nalu boards are easy to use but can take some practice. Balance is of the utmost importance. Once you get the hang of it, you are free to paddle along the coastline while taking in the sights and getting a workout. Reservations are accepted in the mornings while afternoons are first come first serve.
Put-in-Bay Watercraft rents 12’ (25HP) and 15’ (40HP) power boats. Fun for the whole family, the driver must be over 18 and drive the boat the whole time. Take a trip out into the depth of the lake and even get some fishing in.
Kayaks are always a great choice when exploring the lake. They offer comfort and accessibility, easily skimming through the waters. Select from single or double kayaks for hourly rentals.
Make your reservations at least a week before. A $50 deposit is required for all powered watercraft. Operators must also test for Power Boats and Waverunners. The test must be completed before your reserved time. No refunds are accepted seven days before your reservation.
South Bass State Park
