Big news! Cameo Pizza recently moved into Mr. Ed’s Bar and Grille. Now the island’s beloved pizza joint is in everyone’s favorite bar. Pizza lovers can now sit down and enjoy a slice of this phenomenal pizza along with a drink.

Cameo Pizza History

Mama Lococco, the matriarch of the Cameo family, founded this family tradition way back on Monroe Street in Sandusky, Ohio. She served her friends and family out of her own home, Old World Italian Style. She dished out everything from pizza to pasta. The very definition of homestyle, her kitchen restaurant was transformed into the Cameo Pizza everyone knows and loves today.

Both carry out service and delivery is available all summer long. Put-in-Bay visitors are known for partying late into the nights during the summer. Cameo delivers until 3am when the party atmosphere is still going strong.

Its location is ideal, right in the heart of downtown on Delaware Avenue. They make their pizza dough fresh daily. The rich flavorful sauce and secret blend of cheeses, known as the famous Cameo Blend Cheese, makes this pizza one of the best on the island.

Their menu consists of family favorites, like cheese and pepperoni to Margherita as well as their own signature take on the pizza pie. Their deft combination of ingredients make for some truly unforgettable bites. This includes Broccoli Cheddar, BLT, and Zesty Mex.

The well rounded menu is filled out with appetizers and sandwiches so there is always something for everyone.

Mr. Ed’s Bar and Grille

Now the Cameo Pizza resides inside Mr. Ed’s, folks can enjoy a slice with a cold one. Mr. Ed’s is always hopping during the summer season. This large, friendly bar has strong drinks, sports of TV, and plenty of live music all summer.

This ten year old establishment quickly gained in popularity thanks to an incredible lineup of parties and music acts. Their Pajama party is the unofficial start of the summer. Besides Cameo Pizza, this complex includes the popular swim up bar MIST and the Green Room, a sexy, late night dance club on the roof. Plan on spending plenty of time here. There’s no end to fun at Mr. Ed’s.
