Downtown Dave Previews The Week (10/19-10/22)

Well this is the last Downtown Dave entertainment post for the year. When I see the band schedules posted for 2024 I will share them with you. Opening weekend for 2024 is April 19th!

For those that cannot wait for April and Put in Bay to reopen, Ray Fogg has announced that the Put in Bay Days in Key West will be February 14-17th and the 18th might be added. Many of your favorite entertainers will be there.

This is the annual Halloween on Put in Bay. I always see lots of great costumes. On Sunday is the turning off of the Whiskey sign at the Roundhouse on Sunday. It is a sad day for me because you say goodbye to all of your island friends and the employees of all of the island bars that you see every weekend. The island regulars are a very close group because these are the people like me that enjoy the live music and enjoy everything that Put in Bay has to offer.

Maybe I should just say we all belong to a fraternity. The fraternity is called Put in Bay.

Winter is our summer break. LOL Every year I make new lifetime friends.

As you know in many of my posts I talk about friends and how having many friends can enrich your life. This has always been my goal. Even in my posts, if I can get somebody to read my thoughts and really think about their life and maybe smile then I have done my job. I will miss writing the weekly updates but hopefully I will be back at it in 2024. Until then support live music wherever you live. Please make your plans to visit Put in Bay in 2024.
