Ready, set, climb! The Rock Wall at Perry’s Cave and Family Fun Center just got a major upgrade for the 2018 season! Perfect for both experts and beginners, this towering tower is more than 25 ft in the air. Who will be the first to make it to the top!

Perry’s Cave Rock Wall Details

The Rock Wall includes different levels of skills on one wall. Everyone over 50 pounds is invited to give it a go. Climbers are then strapped in and ready to scale the wall. Combo pricing is available for the other attractions at Perry’s. Three climbs on the roc cost only $10!

Open seven days a week, weather permitting.

Perry’s Cave and Family Fun Center

There’s no better place to have a blast than at Perry’s Cave and Family Fun Center! Couples, families and groups of friends flock to this complex of fun for everything from an antique car museum to mini golf.

Perry’s offers package deals for their various attractions as well as group discounts. Most individual tickets costs between $8 – $10. If you plan on spending the day here, a combo package is definitely the way to go.

Perry’s is located about a mile and a half from downtown Put-in-Bay and easily accessible by golf cart or moped. Some other nearby attractions include Heineman’s Winery, the Chocolate Cafe, and South Bass Island State Park. The Put-in-Bay Tour Train makes regular stops there and is a fun way to see the entire island.

Perry’s offers up fun with a bit of education on the side. Just take the War of 18 Holes Mini Golf Course. This beautiful course is landscaped with lush greenery and pretty flowers. Players try to score a hole in one while learning about the battles of the War of 1812, in which Put-in-Bay played a pivotal role.

The Antique Car Museum shows off the islands love for vintage vehicles. Started by local car enthusiast Charles “Skip” Duggan, this free attraction includes the islands oldest car and an impressive collection of memorabilia.

Gemstone Mining offers visitors a hands on experience of actual gemstone mining. Purchase a bag of rough mix from the gift shop. Wash water over the sand to discover actual gemstones and fossils for a special glimpse into the unique ecology of South Bass Island.

There’s never anything wrong with a healthy dose of competition. Race against your friends or yourself in the challenging Fort aMaze’n. Put-in-Bay’s only giant maze, this one is a real doozy! Friends can cheer the racers on from the observation tower.

Speaking of unique ecology, make sure to visit the centerpiece of Perry’s, Perry’s Cave. This fascinating limestone cave is really something. General Perry discovered this cave in 1813 during the Battle of Lake Erie. He found a rare lake full of freshwater 52 ft underground. His troops were in need of fresh water in the midst of the war.
