Visiting Put-in-Bay

Put-in-Bay is one of the most loved summer destinations on the Great Lakes. This small island offers amazing fishing, boating, and other outdoor activities. The ecology of this island is quite fascinating making for interesting nature walks and exploration. Limestone caves dot the island with Perry’s Cave and the Crystal Cave available for tours.

The Village of Put-in-Bay is lined with excellent restaurants, shops, and bars. Many dining establishments offer their own delicious take on the Lake Erie delicacies of perch and walleye. Or catch some yourself either on your own boat or on a trip with Put-in-Bay Fishing Charter.

The bars on Put-in-Bay are legendary. With live music playing all summer long, the weekends find the streets overflowing with partiers having the time of their lives. Spots like Mr. Ed’s Bar and Grill, Level 2, and Mojito Bay are fun, festive, and even a little bit wild.

Bars not your scene? Relax at one of the many fine dining establishments. The Boardwalk is always a great choice with five restaurants offered in one location with amazing lake views. The Old Forge serves amazing crepes in an old blacksmith shop and the Village Bakery and Cafe makes fresh pastries everyday alongside the freshest coffee on the island.

No matter where you visit while on the island, you are guarantee to experience a summertime full of wonderful memories.
