Well to many of you that reached out after last weeks post I am doing a lot better. Health is something to never take for granted.

Lets get back to my thoughts for the week.

Value your reputation
It takes 20 years to build a reputation but it can only take 5 minutes to destroy it. So choose your actions wisely

Work for a better future
Someone is sitting under the shade right now because someone planted a tree a long time ago.

Patience is the Key
No matter how great your talents or efforts, some things just take time. You need to have patience to achieve success in any endeavor that you attempt.

Do what you love
I know that I have referenced this thought before. But life is to short to waste it on something that you hate. Find what you really like and find a way to make a living from it.

One Step at a time
Do not look to jump over 7 foot bars. Look around for 1 foot bars that you can step over. Nobody is an overnight success. Take baby steps towards building you dream

Take control
You are the master of your own life and you should never give the steering wheel of life to any other. You must take control and sail yourself, don’t get carried away by the tides. Time is your most valuable asset, so use it very wisely

So Labor Day weekend is upon us. On Labor Day Put in Bay has a boat send off party. It used be called White Spider night. It would take too long to explain the meaning of white spider. But it is a great evening where everybody gathers at the Miller Ferry Dock and send the last boat of the summer season away. Now it is not the end of the season but it is the end of the summer season on Put in Bay. You can see from the music calendar that we do not have live music every day at some places. But that should not stop any of you from making another trip to the island this year. We have lots of special events planned for the fall. Plus lots of your favorite bands are still playing. Do not let 2024 end without making a stop up to your favorite place Put in Bay. Plus it is not too early to reserve your rooms for the 2025 season.
