Test Your Volleyball Skills on August 8th
For more than 40 years, volleyball players have come to Put-in-Bay, Ohio to compete in this day long tournament. Over,1,000 players participate in a coed sixes day long volleyball tournament hosted by Lakeview Volleyball. The night before the tournament a pre-registration players party is held at The Sand Bar at Adventure Bay. On the day of the tournament, players check in from 8-9 AM and competition begins at 9 AM on McCann field, minutes from downtown Put in Bay. The tournament is organized by Lakeview Volleyball and includes t-shirts for all players, music provided by a DJ, and prizes for 1st and 2nd place in each division. In keeping with the festive nature of the island, there is also a team theme contest, where teams have been known to dress up as Superheros, TV characters, zombies and other outrageous subjects.
