They also sell Put-in-Bay souvenirs like their super cute denim shorts with the Island’s name stitched on the back and baseball hats. Sweet ceramic pieces like coasters and mugs line the shelves.

The Yacht Clubs offers dockage, events, and a clubhouse open for members. Their clubhouse is also available for special occasions. A lovely choice for a wedding, family reunion, or birthday.
Gibraltar Island can also be seen from the front steps of Bay View Gifts. This entire region is full of history, namely the War of 1812. Commodore Perry used Gibraltar Island as a lookout point while fighting against the British during the Battle of Lake Erie. Cooke’s Castle built in the late 1800’s as a summer home is now a National Historic Landmark.
Downtown Put-in-Bay
After shopping at Bay View Gifts, relax over a glass of wine at the nearby Put-in-Bay Winery. They offer a variety of dry and sweet wine as well as tasting rooms, a winery exhibit, and beautiful wine garden. Enjoy a glass al fresco in the garden or the inviting front porch. There are also tours of the Valentine Doller estate, the beautiful yellow and gray building that houses the winery.
Downtown Put-in-Bay is always full of fun. Take in the views at the Upper Deck at The Boardwalk while dining of their famous Lobster Bisque or listen to live music on the Main Deck. Grab a drink from Burgee Bar and enjoy your summer on the island.
